Meridian Kiwanis would like to thank you for considering supportingComfort Kits for Children (CKC)
Did you know that Meridian Kiwanis provides over 400 backpacks each year containing both hygiene andcomfort items to children taken from their homes under less than appropriate circumstances?
These backpacks include a blanket, flashlight, coloring book, stuffed animal along with toothbrush, toothpaste,brush, shampoo, conditioner, etc.
We try to provide something for them to hold on to when they are removed from their homes by Ada Countysheriffs or child protective services. These backpacks are often all that can be taken with them due to theenvironment of the home.
We have been asked to increase how many we provide and this is our only fundraiser for our club all year.
